How much further could you go?

FOR TEAMS BUILDING, DELIVERING & OPERATING TECHNOLOGY
You’re doing important work, with a lot of people, decisions, and moving pieces. Yet you know something isn’t quite where it should be. Get a glimpse of what could be instead.

GOING FURTHER CAN LOOK LIKE

clearer direction, less repeated effort,
better decisions, and more
EFFECTIVE DELIVERY

FOR THE TEAMS INVOLVED
AND EVERYONE WHO DEPENDS ON THEIR WORK.

10+ YEARS ACROSS BUSINESS, PRODUCT, DELIVERY, AND OPERATIONS IN TECHNOLOGY

WHAT’S REALLY HAPPENING

The symptoms may be easier to see.

WHAT IS CAUSING THEM IS OFTEN HARDER TO FIND.
PRIORITIES
shift without
clear decisions.
KNOWLEDGE
lives in too many places.
PROCESSES
change depending
on who is involved.
OWNERSHIP
becomes unclear,
especially when work
moves between teams.

Teams spend more time searching for information,
revisiting decisions, and coordinating work
THAN MOVING IT FORWARD.

THESE PROBLEMS RARELY
HAPPEN IN ISOLATION.
ADDING ANOTHER TOOL,
MEETING, OR LAYER OF PROCESS
AI CREATES NEW POSSIBILITIES,

An issue in one place can create delays, repeated effort, or missed context somewhere else. What starts in one part of the work can affect what happens next.

may address the symptoms without solving the problem itself. That becomes even more relevant today as teams look to AI to improve how work gets done.

but getting value from it starts with knowing where it can make the greatest difference. Before deciding what to change, build, or automate, the first step is understanding what is causing the friction in the first place.

WHAT COMES NEXT

Once we understand what is really happening,
the next step is figuring out what needs to change
and how to put it into practice.

01
UNDERSTAND THE WORK

We look across priorities, decisions, information, processes, technology, and responsibilities to understand how the work actually gets done and where the issues are showing up.

02
SHAPE A PRACTICAL SOLUTION

We decide what will make the greatest difference. That may involve improving an existing process, creating something new, clarifying ownership, removing steps that no longer help, or identifying where technology can meaningfully improve how the work gets done.

03
PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

I help turn the solution into action with the people involved, so it works in practice and can be carried forward.

I WORK WITH LEADERS AND THE PEOPLE CLOSEST TO THE WORK TO UNDERSTAND
HOW THE PIECES CONNECT AND WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN NEXT.

SELECTED WORK

What this looks like in practice

Select a focus area below to see how I helped.

01 · BUSINESS

Developing an AI Concept into an Approved Use Case

CHALLENGE

An AI concept had potential, but it needed a clear, credible case to move through review and gain approval.

APPROACH

I brought together the business value, technical considerations, requirements, and supporting information, working across the teams involved to address questions and shape the use case as it moved through the process.

RESULT

An approved direction and a clearer path for the teams involved to move the use case forward.

02 · PRODUCT

Shaping an Early Idea into a Product Ready to Build

CHALLENGE

An early-stage AI travel platform had a strong concept, but the path from idea to product still needed to be shaped.

APPROACH

I worked with the founding team to define the MVP, user workflows, product requirements, and roadmap, while helping prioritize what mattered most for the first version and reviewing key UX and product decisions.

RESULT

A clearer, more focused path into development, with greater clarity on what needed to be built first and a pilot planned as the next step.

03 · DELIVERY

Getting Teams Aligned Around How the Work Gets Done

CHALLENGE

A newly formed global technology team was working across regions without a consistent way to plan, prioritize, communicate, and manage the work.

APPROACH

I looked at where coordination and visibility were breaking down and put the planning, tracking, and communication in place to help the team work more consistently.

RESULT

Clearer priorities and dependencies, a shared way of working across regions, and a more reliable way to manage work affecting customers and critical systems.

04 · OPERATIONS

Bringing Order to Fragmented Work

CHALLENGE

A governance program was being managed across disconnected processes, tools, and sources of information, making it harder to see what was happening and keep the work moving consistently.

APPROACH

I brought the pieces together by centralizing program tracking, improving playbooks, standardizing key workflows, creating templates, and strengthening reporting.

RESULT

A more repeatable way to run the program, better knowledge sharing, and clearer visibility for the teams and leaders who relied on the information to manage the work.

MEET THE ROHMER

I’M MICHELLE ROHM, FOUNDER OF THE ROHMER.

Michelle Rohm, founder of The Rohmer

My path here didn’t quite follow the traditional one.

I moved often, but not in the way you’d think. New roles, new companies, new challenges. For much of my career, that was simply the nature of the work. That path took me through established companies, early-stage teams, and eventually into building something of my own.

Wherever the work took me, I went all in, saw it through, and carried what I learned into whatever came next.

Over time, I learned how to step into the unfamiliar and see what others might miss.

The real problems were not always the obvious ones. They lived in the things people had stopped questioning. In what was assumed. In what got handed from one person to the next. In the process everyone worked around. In the information everyone thought someone else had.

Those were the spaces I learned to notice.

I started asking questions until what was really happening came into view. Connecting pieces that had been sitting separately. Helping people see what had always been there.

THAT BECAME THE WORK.

AND EVENTUALLY, IT BECAME THE NAME.

The Rohmer is a reflection of that path. A career spent roaming into unfamiliar territory, learning how things really work, and looking beyond what is immediately visible.

Everything I’ve learned lives here now.

WORKING TOGETHER

01

START WITH A CONVERSATION

We begin with what is happening, what is getting in the way, and what you are trying to accomplish.

02

DEFINE THE WORK

From there, we determine what would be most useful and define the scope, timing, and expected outcomes.

03

SEE IT THROUGH

I work directly with you and the people closest to the work, staying involved from understanding the problem to putting the solution into practice.

WHO I WORK BEST WITH

Leaders and teams who know something could be working better.

Whether the issue is already clear or still needs to be understood.

You are open to looking closely at how the work really gets done, involving the people closest to it, questioning what has become normal, and making changes that can be put into practice and carried forward.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Usually when something could be working better and you need help understanding what is getting in the way or deciding what to do next. The issue may sit within one team or extend across teams and functions, with unclear priorities, scattered information, inconsistent processes, unclear ownership, or work that keeps getting stuck. You do not need to have the problem perfectly defined before we talk.

It depends on what the situation calls for. Sometimes I take the lead. Sometimes I work alongside the team to build, improve, or see something through. The role is shaped around what will be most useful to you. I’m hands-on in the work either way.

I start with what the team is trying to accomplish and where the work could be improved. From there, I can help identify where AI may be useful, shape the use case, rethink how the work gets done, and help put it into practice. The starting point is understanding the need, not assuming AI is the answer.

What’s important to me is making sure we work well together and that you always know where things stand. I follow through on what I say I’m going to do and raise things when they need attention. I like honest conversations, questions, and feedback. I’ll tell you what I think, and I want you to do the same. The work can be complex. Working together doesn’t have to be.

I work with both growing companies and established organizations. The size or industry matters less than the challenge and whether an outside perspective could be useful.

Once we understand what you need, we’ll define the scope, timing, and fee before we begin. Pricing is based on the assignment rather than an hourly rate.

I’m based in Phoenix, Arizona, and work with clients across the U.S. Most engagements are remote, with in-person work when it makes sense for the assignment.
